Google Android finally announced open source
One year after the initial launch Google's Android is finally announced open source.
According to Google officials the smartphone operating system is aimed to boost the mobile Internet market.
Google published the project website where developers can be assigned with roles and contribute to the project.
Google employs a team of developers that build the software for Android and another team to help phone manufacturers build Android-based mobiles.
