IBM focuses on Cloud Computing
IBM is extending its current software disctibution model toward a mix of on-premise and cloud-computing applications.
IBM is working with several other manufacturers and service providers to accompish this.
As part of its project, IBM has released a free, open beta for Bluehouse, a social-networking and collaboration cloud Web service.
The service has been designed to allow engineers and teams to work together on projects.
IBM reported that the Web applications are being currently audited for security by Rational AppScan OnDemand and the company Telelogic Focal Point helps to manage the product manufacturing.
