Kyocera to launch Android-based smartphone
The Kyocera company announced today that it will put Android-based mobile phones into production.
Kyocera issued a press release where it says it is currently developing a "new product platform incorporating Android mobile software."
The corporation will be joining forces with device software optimizer (DSO), Wind River, a business engaged in the Open Handset Alliance.
As we reported earlier, Google has made its Android platform open source which will render production of software easier for developers and manufacturers.
