Microsoft to launch cloud computing platform
Microsoft announced in Los Angeles the release of its cloud computing platform called Windows Azure designed for software developers.
Windows Azure hosts SQL Server, .Net Framework and SharePoint and is able to connect to locally installed software on developers' boxes. This will help them building Web applications running on Microsoft's data centers located all over the world.
Windows Azure is the platform serving software developers to build applications running across the cloud, data centers, Web, smart phones and PCs.
