New Ubuntu version from Canonical
Canonical released Ubuntu Linux desktop and server updates that are now free to download.
The commercial distro sponsor Canonical announced the availability of Ubuntu 8.01 Desktop Edition that is free to download for all.
The new Linux edition allows devices to connect to 3G mobile networks via a mobile or a USB dongle.
New Ubuntu version includes GNOME 2.24 and other multimedia features.
